February 8th: Richard Page: Birds
Richards display started with Birds of Prey found within the British Isles.Following the break Richard showed birds from the rest of the World with items including the usual Covers and stamps plus errors,signed covers and colour trials.
April 11th 2012 David Tett F.R.P.S.L. Singapore and Malaya 1942-1945
Davids display started with the bombing of Pearl harbour on 8th December 1941 and followed through to the end of the War and items included Undelivered mail-between prisoners and family regulations and postal rates Postal stationery provided for communication with prisoners resplendence to those not interned and re-patriation mail to and from prisoners of war and internees plus red cross letters
A most interesting subject covering three and a half years.

Geralds display began with a letter from Jersey to relatives on the Mainland informing them of the impending occupation of the Islands by Germany, and followed with examples of the few stamps issues from that period which included rare imperfs and printings on bank note and news paper, Bisect and underpaid mail were shown as well as Internee mail.
Gerald also showed post from well known Islanders such as the Dame of Sark.
Stories of mistreatment to foreign subjects held prisoner on the Islands and the hardship suffered by the Islanders themselves added to a most interesting stage of the second World War.

October 10th Brian Sole. FRPSL. British Greetings Telegrams and Ephemera
Brian is well known to Thematic collectors as he has played a large part in arranging events across the British Isles such as Thematica to encourage and promote Thematic collecting.
His Telegram display featured early telegrams such as the one shown also Ships letter telegrams and Post Office Greeting cards which included National savings and Postal Order gifts were just some of the Items on display. To follow Brian gave a display of a wide and varied array of Ephemera which included Philatelic Congress material, Booklets, Hand stamps, Exhibition souvenir sheets rounded off with a history of T.V.Licence stamps.
