The Aylesbury Philatelic Society

The Aylesbury & District Philatelic Society has been providing a service to the stamp collectors of Aylesbury for more than 40 years and it has around 50 active members. The Society meets at 7.45pm on the second Wednesday of each month (except August) at the Watermead Village Hall on the outskirts of Aylesbury. In May 2003 and again in March 2006 it was featured by Stamp Magazine as “The Society of The Month”.

There is a varied programme, which includes displays from invited speakers, members’ evenings, bourses and competitions and an exchange packet circulates, which enables members to buy and sell stamps. Everyone is made welcome and there is a free raffle and free cup of coffee for all who attend the meetings.
